The children were up bright and early, 6am in Cabin 1, and chatted enthusiastically about the day’s coming adventures at the breakfast table.
Group 1 spent the morning canoeing on the River Soar, whilst Group 2 enjoyed the morning developing their archery skills. The groups swapped activities in the afternoon. All of the children managed the canoeing, and the excitement of negotiating the weir. Socks, feet and shoes were soaked but this didn’t diminish their enthusiasm!
This evening the children are bursting with excitement about the prospect of Hide and Seek in the cellars. Hopefully they will all enjoy the experience, and build memories that will last a life time!
